Made by the pack at Odd Dog, a marketing agency that just opened a new location in Portland. This year, we're also a Hood to Coast team π
Hood to Coast is a real 199-mile, 36-leg relay from Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood to the beach at Seaside β and this is the whole course, leg by leg, day into night and back. One of our 12 office dogs runs every leg with you.
Your runner runs on its own. Tap for a quick hop over the low stuff; press and hold for a big jump over tall obstacles (the porta-potty demands respect). Hit something and you trip: you freeze for 1s, then 2s, then 3s⦠while the clock keeps running. Clean running is the whole game.
Pass other runners for roadkill β the classic HTC van-window tally. It's pure bragging rights. Finish the leg to hand off to the next dog at the exchange.
Every leg has its own board. Your best time per leg is what counts β rerun any leg to improve. After a run, add your name and (optionally) your team name so your crew shows up on the board. Beat the dogs first, then your friends.
The dogs are real. They run our office. We're Odd Dog, a marketing agency that just opened a new location in Portland, and this year we fielded our own Hood to Coast team. This game is our love letter to the race. If your brand ever needs a partner who'll chase it like a tennis ball, you know where to find us. π
